What are Metallurgists

Metallurgists or Metallurgical engineers are involved in plant design, development, operations and control, management, research and the disposal of waste, all in a safe and environmentally acceptable manner. They have a sound knowledge and understanding of chemistry and the principles of engineering, particularly process engineering.

Undergraduate Courses

The department has two undergraduate degrees: the three-year science degree and the flagship four-year engineering degree. A variety of double degrees are also available. See the links below for details.
